Talisman Jacket – 2012 – Screenprint, sewing
Inspired by the talisman jackets of the Ottoman period i designed and created a jacket covered in contemporary spells, such as song lyrics, written in my secret language. The lining is printed with images of people who have made me feel strong and protected.
